Q: 2009 5 door VW rabbit?
it's a bit pricy.i don't know if i should buy this one. Becasue this one cost more gas, but it's safer since it's thicker However, some ppl say vw is not reliable while some ppl say it is. Is it reliable? i find matrix looks better than rabbit. but i don't think matrix has better perforamance. Do you guys think VW is reliable? and how about matainence? what about the insurance compare to matrix? Thanks a lot

A: first of all the people that tell you that vw is not good or not reliable are vw haters.they only like american or japanese car and complain about european, which i find very annoying...you don't like it,stay away from it...don't talk stupid stuff about it.it's like if i would go around and complain about honda or hundai. anyways, since it's brand new it should be reliable and vw does build good quality vehicles and the price is there to prove it...they wouldn't ask that much if the car was made of some cheap quality materials. and remember this....the way you treat a car, that's how it's gonna treat you. anyways, matrix to me looks more like a family car but if you like the look that's up to you to decide and yes the rabbit does have a better performance because matrix has a 4 cylinder 16 valve engine.btw i've always found 6 cylinder engines being better on gas then 4 cylinder ones(esspecially when i have more people in the back),i'm guessing because of more pressure on the engine. another thing is rabbit is also a bit more expensive when it comes to insurance because it has bigger engine(they somehow look at the engines, basicaly rabbit has more cylinders then toyota so it should be just a bit more expensive then toyota on insurance) toyotas are also good and reliable car,but have lots of electrical problems.another advantage with toyota is that it's all wheel drive, but that can be a bit more price once the transmission breaks or something else. anyways,i hope this helps and good luck

Q: Will 2009 VW Rabbit 2dr cost more in insurance than Rabbit 4dr?
I never had a 2dr vehicle before. so, I wonder if 2dr would affect me insurance payment. Thanks for answers!

A: Yes, Its consider the sports version. My ins was around $60-80 more for 6 months vs a 4 door. If you have kids or drive when you go out with a group of friends, get the 4 door. I have the 2 door and it gets to be a pain letting people in and out.
