Q: How do I transfer Music to my Jetta TDI?
How to I transfer music from my computer to my VW 2009 Jetta TDI's Hard Drive?

A: im gonna take a wild stab in the dark and say via a USB port. probably located in the glove box. maybe have a look in the owners manual?

Q: VW city jetta is a good car??
k here's the scoop, i want to get a car that is REALLY reliable and that the price is reasonable. Im looking at the 2009 VW city jetta. When i say reliable i mean like toyota and honda reliability. Is VW that reliable? thx for all the answers (in advance) if not any other suggestions?

A: yes

Q: 2009 VW CC what do u think of this vw?
2009 VW CC LUXURY help? the vw cc what would you say about this car. i own a 07 vw jetta wolfsburg and thinking about trading up for the cc. im 20 year old male looking for a car with class and around the low $30,000

A: It's an overpriced Passat (which is overpriced to begin with). For 30k-33k I'd be looking at a BMW 3 series, or a MB C Class. IMO Volkswagens don't exude class, they say "I wanted a nice german car, but this was all I could afford."

Q: 2009 VW CC LUXURY WOULD U BUY THIS CAR?
2009 VW CC LUXURY help? the vw cc what would you say about this car. i own a 07 vw jetta wolfsburg and thinking about trading up for the cc. im 20 year old male looking for a car with class and around the low $30,000

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here - autoinsurance.noneto.com

Q: Should I buy a 2009 Ford Focus or a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta?
Heres the deal, I am about to get a new car and I really like the VW Jetta overall. The thing is I can get a brand new Ford Focus SEL for the same price and it has that cool Sync thing,,,,,,, I know that the Jetta has a better history, but I dont know much about the Ford Focus but the fact that it looks really nice this year. What do you think?

A: Hard to know the long term reliability of the 2009 Ford Focus, i know reviews by MSN Autos give it a 7.0 and with only a handful of consumer reviews, i really don't think you can get a good feel. Consumer reports rates the 2009 Ford Focus at 71, which i don't think is too good. The Jetta does report some minor engine issues in the 2006 model, but MSN Auto review is an 8.2 and user reviews are a 9.2 (that is based off of 167 reviews, which is much more valid than 12 for the Ford) The 2005 Jetta does not have the same engine issues reported as the 2006 model if that makes any difference to you. What i have always loved about the VW's i have owned over the years (VW GTI, VW Golf and VW Beetle) is the feel of the car and the driving experience. When i test drove comparable Japanese or American cars, i noticed things like the sound of the door closing (much more solid on the VW), interior amenities (VW is just so well set up for my taste) and the feel of the ride, shifting and steering (all more sporty on the VW's.) Cars and owners have a special bond and there is a very personal component to what makes some people like one car over another. Test drive them both. Buy an aftermarket warranty when possible and always do your maintenance. Hope this helps!

Q: 08/09 VW Jetta? Anyone have one?
Does anyone have a 2008 or 2009 Volkswagen Jetta S? Do you like it and would you recommend it to others? Also, what's the fastest you can go and how long does it take to go from 0-60? Thanks in advance.

A: I dont own one personally, but my best friend just got a 2009 Jetta S. He absolutely loved it, until he totaled it. He wasnt paying attention, and went on the wrong side of the road. He was doing 50 mph and hit a 2006 Ford Explorer that was going 45. Even though it was a complete head on collision, he walked away. I met him at the scene right after it happened. The whole front of his car was destroyed, but then the inside was completely intact. He said he barely even hit the airbag because he seat belt caught him so quickly. The other driver in the SUV was taken to the hospital in an ambulance for not to severe injuries. I know that he loved that jetta more than anything, and it saved his life. He plans on getting a new one ASAP. I love my 2007 VW GTi too........ Everyone i know that owns a VW, especially a Jetta LOVES IT. GOod luck, you wont be disappointed.

Q: What is the Definition of PZEV, in Engine terms?
I was looking at a 2009 model VW Jetta; they didn't give the definition of "PZEV I5" in the engine specs. Anyone Know what that stands for?

A: The PZEV (Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle) designation is to meet the requirements of the California Air Resouces Board (CARB) standards..several other states in the NE have adopted the CARB standards...not sure which ones..call your DMV and ask. The good side of PZEZ..aside from extremely low emissions..is that the car makers are required to warrant performance for 15 years/150,000 miles...so that if "any emission-related part is found to be defective, the part will be repaired or replaced by Volkswagen for 15 years or 150,000 miles"...so if your cat craps out 10 years from now you're covered instead of having to pay $800! Fed warranty for other states only cover most emissions parts for 2 years/24,000 miles and a few (cat and ECU) for 8 years/80,000 miles...so you do get better coverage that can save you big bucks down the road! I spent $1200 for diagnostics and a cat on my Golf at 9 years 95,000 miles..wish I had PZEV on that car!

Q: need help with which car is good...?
Ok so my parents are thinking of leasing me a car when I get my license. Since they think that the 2001 tahoe is too big for me to drive and that I would be more comfortable with a smaller car. I have driven it and it is ok. But im a little nervous in it. So we were thinking of either the 2009 VW Jetta or the 2009 Jeep cherokee. As far as my parents are concerned is the safest one. My dad says to try both out when I get my license. But he thinks that the Jeep cherokee would be better since god forbid an accident. So does anyone have a jetta if so tell me about it? Or the jeep? Tell me what you like about either car. If you don't have either feel free to still tell me your opinion

A: Check out Youtube. Search 2009 Jetta or 2009 Cherokee crash test. You'll see which is safer. I would go with the Jeep though. Have the have the drivetrain warranty and just so much cooler and fun.

Q: Is reliability a car thing or a driver thing?
I have been looking at cars for awhile now and have narrowed it down to a few. I am a new driver, so some may think i am crazy, but i am not. i am very cautious and careful. So my question is on reliability. Is a car considered reliable if you can beat it to hell and it still runs, or is it if you can just drive it normal and have nothing happen to it. the reason i ask is because i am looking at a jetta, but have heard vw horror stories. my friend drives a 2001 jetta and loves it though, never had a problem in his life. he to is a cautious driver, who gets it in the shop for regular "check ups". Please help me out and let me know, hopefully good answers because i really like this car oh by the way, it would be a 2009 SE Automatic

A: It's a combination of both actually. For the part of the car, it's important to look after the general maintenance of the vehicle and to look after the small stuff before it turns into big stuff. For the part of the driver, it's the driver's responsibility to drive the vehicle with care and not to abuse the car. Always flooring the gas, just as an example, puts a bigger strain on the engine, transmission, driveline, tires, etc compared to just driving normally.
