Q: 2007 VW Jetta or 2007 Honda Accord Coupe?
I'm not sure which car to buy. The Honda is 24,000 and the Jetta is 19,913. Are these good prices? I have owned a Honda and I know it is a good car. But I don't know much about Jettas. Are they good cars. Im thinking of getting the Jetta because it is cheaper. But is it worth it in the long run? I would also like to know what you payed for you 2007 Accord or Jetta.

A: They are both excellent choices, what suits your lifestyle may not be someone else, you really have to find out on your own by extensive test drives. Q: My 2007 VW Jetta has a light on in the dash like this (!) What does this mean???
It looks like this(!) and I keep driving w/ it on... some people insist that it is the emergency brake, but it isn't... I have only had it for about 6 months!!! Help! I do not have the book that comes with the car... if anyone has one and could look it up, that would be awesome!

A: that is the low tire pressure warning. check and adjust all your tire pressures to the spec that is located on the door jam should be approx 33 psi 35 should work. in most cases this will fix your problem but you may have to drive it for a short while to wake sensors up after inflating to proper level.if you have a screw, nail...etc the light will come back on shortly. your tire pressures should be checked at least everytime you have your oil changed but in some cases where the ambient temp changes alot they need be checked more often.the only otherthing that would keep this light on is if a tire pressure sensor has been damaged, missing, battery dead in it or a malfunction in tpms syst. most cases adjusting you tire pressures will turn it off though.

Q: I have a 1998 VW Jetta and i recently bought a keyfob from a 2007 VW is is possible to program the new keyfob?
The VW dealership was very rude to me and said that it is not possible at all, but I am pretty sure it is. If anyone knows anything that can help me out please let me know. THANK YOU

A: I got a new keyfob for my Jetta and it is possible to program them. It is a little tricky and you may have to do it a few times to make it work. I'm pretty sure this is how I did it: (you're gonna need two people) One person put the key in the ignition and the other key with the new keyfob in the driver's door lock. Then start the car and hold down either the lock or unlock (i don't remember which one) on the new keyfob. Like I said it may not work the first time. I had to d it several times before it worked for me.

Q: Is $1995 for a 84 month/100K bumper to bumper warranty good deal for VW 2007 Jetta?
Company provides a 4 year bumper to bumper, this option takes it to 84 months and 100K. I bought the car and now must decide if this warranty is worth the upfront cost.

A: Extended warranties are never a good deal. Your car is already covered for a period of time and only a very small percentage of these warranties are ever used...don't do it! Instead put that money in a money market account at 6 % interest and you will have what you need by the time you have your first out of warranty repair!

Q: Iam buying a 2007 Vw Jetta sedan GLI automatic, does it require premium gas?

A: It doesn't, but: - premium unleaded (95 RON) is recommended for maximum performance, - unleaded regular (91RON) - you can use it as an alternative with slight reduction in performance I am reading a lot of car magazines and as far as I know, the reduction in performance will be very, very, very slight like 0,2hp or less. If you don't mind spending a lot of money on gas, buy premium fuel, it's always better for your engine but buying regular gas really shouldn't be a problem. Hope it helps!

Q: Will a Britax Marathon fit (rear-facing) in a 2007 VW Jetta?

A: I just bought this car seat. It's a tight fit in my Dodge Nitro (small SUV) so I'm not sure about the Jetta. Just thought I'd let you know!

Q: When is the 2007 VW Jetta Coming Out?

A: Fall 2007.

Q: I cant decide beteen a 2007 Civic or a 2007 VW Jetta. Which would be your choice and why?

A: I would go for the civic, only because Honda's are the most reliable cars made. They have the longest lasting engines, plus they gets get MPG's. The car will last for 15+ years plus they look nice. Good Luck

Q: VW Jetta 2007 (2008) color - Platinum Grey in Sydney?
has anyone seen a VW Jetta in Platinum Grey color on road in Sydney? How does it look? becoz I wanna to get this color but haven't seen a real one in any car dealer in Sydney?

A: that is a good color

Q: 2007 vw Jetta? Pros and cons thinking about buying.. it's between that or the scion tc..?
I will own the car for at least 8 years...

A: I would definitely go with the jetta. The scions are just weird to me and won't have as much room as the jetta. Also, the new jetta has a really good crash rating. I've seen some nasty looking crashes and the person with the vw always comes out better than the others involved. The scion just seems to be one of those cheaper cars for younger people who like to do a ton of stuff to their cars. You can do stuff to the jettas too but they look much nicer than the scions. If you'll be having the car for 8 years, get a warranty that will cover for the majority of that time.

Q: Any advice??? 2007 VW Jetta or 2007 Nissan Altima??
Which car is a better value and is more reliable. I'd like a nice, quiet, smooth ride decent gas mileage and acceleration when I need it.

Q: Rain water leaks into the boot (trunk) of my VW Jetta 2007?

A: Take back to your VW garage. As this is a 2007 model, I presume the car is still under warranty. They should sort this.

Q: 2007 VW Jetta Wheel Size limit?
I currently have 205-55-16r's on my car and I received 205-65-16'rs on rims(winter tires) as a gift. I think they will fit but I am not certain. Does anybody know? Tire Rack recommends 205-55-16's but it doesn't comment on maximums. thank you

A: As long as the wheel is the correct offset and width, it will fit fine. It's about 2 cm taller. If you can exchange them it's best but it will otherwise work fine. The speedometer might be a bit slow.

Q: 2007 mazda 3it, 2002 mercedes c230k, or 2007 vw jetta?
ok so i just turned 16 and im lookin at cars. ive found that i like these 3, and i know nothing about cars so if they are very different and weird to compare, i dont care, i just like what they look like. but are they all reliable. which is most reliable. and which is the best deal?

A: The Mercedes will be expensive to fix when something goes wrong. I've heard VW's are prone to breakdown. So I'd go for the Mazda.

Q: Where's my oil filter?? 2007 VW Jetta!!!?

A: I'm assuming you're talking about the North America market 2.5L straight-five. You should mention your engine. There is also a turbo four 2.0 available. Your car uses a cartridge filter that fits in a canister. You need to open the oil filter housing and also replace the seal ring (O-ring) that comes with a new filter. The oil filter housing is under the car, in a black plastic filter housing.
